This service provides the community with special requests centering on Vision & Hearing needs.
This program takes used eye glasses, hearing aids, old light cords, keys, etc. and takes them to the Lions of Illinois Foundation to be recycled. Come help us clean up our section of Rockford!
Rockford Noon Lions and many other clubs from our district have made it our goal as a community service project to help the Veterans Center collect clothing, furniture, everyday household items, etc for Veterans that are in need.
This event brings individuals with special needs and Lions for a day of fishing and enjoying nature. Fun times for all involved.
This program allows schools in our district to compete at drawing a poster for Lions Clubs International based on a particular theme centered on peace. This allows children to participate in our volunteer organization.
Before Christmas, members sign up to ring the bell at various locations. Maybe you even saw one of us and donated!
Rockford Noon Lions sponsored the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Celebrations. Joining us were Lions Clubs International's International President Gudrun Yngvadottir, PID Jon Bjarni Thorsteinsson, PIP Wing Kun Tam, Lion David from Special Olympics and Council Chair Pam Graney (Rockford Noon Lion)
Rockford Noon Lions Club collaborated with the Rockford Leo Clubs to package food for the Northern Illinois Food Bank
Rockford Noon Lions sponsored a whole for the District Golf Outing and had many people volunteer their time to help run the golf outing. Great times for a Great cause.
